안녕하세요! 드디어 2025년 겨울 장박의 첫 시작을 알렸습니다.
이번 장박지는 눈이 온 직후라 도착하자마자 제설부터 시작해야 했는데요,
고생 끝에 얻어낸 아늑하고 따뜻한 보금자리 구축기를 공유해 드릴게요!
❄️ 첫째 날: 눈위의 피칭, 바닥 공사의 중요성 (12/5 금요일, 1/-7℃, 흐림)
오후 3시 30분, 장박지에 도착했습니다. 눈이 쌓여있어서 땅이
미끄럽고 추운 날씨 속에서 곧바로 제설 작업에 들어갔어요.
텐트 피칭보다 더 중요했던 건 바로 **바닥 공사**였습니다.

**꼼꼼한 바닥 공사 레이어:**
1. 눈 제거 후 비닐 깔기 (1차 습기 차단)
2. 은박발포지 5T 30m (1차 냉기 차단)
3. 방수포 (2차 습기 차단)
4. 파크론 놀이매트 6개 (2차 냉기 차단)
5. 방수포(3차 습기 차단 및 인테리어)
6. 러그로 마무리(3차 냉기 차단 및 인테리어)
차가운 날씨 때문에 테이프도 잘 안 붙고 미끄러워서 시간이 오래 걸렸지만,
이렇게 두껍게 깔아두니
**바닥에서 올라오는 냉기는 확실히 차단**
되었습니다.
예상대로 바닥 난방만큼은 100% 만족스러웠어요!
저희는 입식 구성이지만
실내화를 신고 입식 생활을 할 생각입니다.
그래서 입구에 신발장을 두고
전실에서는 털 슬리퍼를 신고 있을 예정입니다.
애들도 있어서 바닥에서 뒹굴어도 될 정도의 구성을 했습니다.
**✅ 텐트 피칭 및 시행착오:**
텐트 방향과 우레탄 창 방향을 잡는 데 고민이 많았는데,
처음에는 잔디 쪽으로 쳤다가
다음날 산 쪽을 바라보게 다시 쳐야 한다는 것을 깨달았습니다.
캠장님께 처음부터 물어볼걸 그랬어요
바닥 공사, 텐트 설치, 짐 정리까지 총 2시간 정도 소요되었습니다.

첫날은 급하게 친구를 초대했는데, 준비가 미흡해서
친구에게 치킨을 사 오라고 하고😅 정신없는 초대 캠을 보냈습니다.
다행히 옆 장박지 친구네 덕분에 따뜻하게 저녁 식사를 하고,
저희 텐트로 이동해 호롱불 아래서 불멍하며 즐겁게 대화했습니다.
플라이 없이 메인 팩 4개만 박아둔 가건물 같은 상태였지만,
기어미션 등유난로, GB 프로젝트 터틀팬, 루메나 워머팟
덕분에 춥지는 않았습니다.
다만, 건조함은 좀 불편해서
다음엔 주전자를 꼭 챙겨오기로 다짐했어요.
**😥 첫날의 아쉬움:**
바닥 공사는 잘 되었으나 이너텐트가 바깥쪽으로 나가 있어
발 부분이 차가웠고 결로가 발생했습니다.
(이너텐트 위치를 잘 잡아야 함을 배웠습니다.)
늘 쓰던 야토 스트링 조명이 고장(접촉 불량)이 났고 멀티탭을
찾지 못해 캠핑장에서 빌려 쓰는 해프닝도 있었습니다.

🔨 둘째 날: 텐트 방향 변경과 완벽한 정비 (12/6 토요일, 3/-2℃, 흐리고 비온 후 갬)
아침 7시쯤 눈을 떴는데, 난로 불이 꺼져 있었습니다!
다행히 심지에 불씨가 남아있어 기름을 추가해
따뜻한 전실 온도를 유지할 수 있었어요.
**🛠️ 텐트 방향 변경:**
와이프와 아이들이 도착하고, 캠장님께 우레탄 창 방향에 대해 여쭤보니
"당연히 산 쪽을 바라보게 해야죠!"라는 답변을 듣고
곧바로 텐트 방향 바꾸기 작업에 착수했습니다.
친구의 도움을 받아 텐트 안의 짐과 바닥재를 모두 빼고,
메인 팩을 뽑은 후 텐트를 돌려 다시 세우고 텐션을 잡았습니다.
이제야 비로소 제대로 된 장박 텐트의 모습이 갖춰졌습니다!

친구에게 고생만 시키고 라면으로 점심을 대접한 것이 미안했지만,
와이프가 합류하니 정리 속도가 엄청나게 빨라졌습니다.
점심에는 와이프표 닭칼국수를 대접하며
미안함과 고마움을 전할 수 있었어요. (역시 캠핑의 완성은 와이프!)
👨👩👧👦 가족과 함께하는 즐거운 시간:
실내가 완벽하게 정리되고 따뜻한 전실과 방이 갖춰지자,
아이들은 이 방 저 방을 돌아다니며 신나게 놀았습니다.
눈이 남은 곳에서 썰매도 태워주고요.
아이들이 잘 노는 모습을 보니,
이 맛에 캠핑하지라는 감회가 들었습니다.
저녁에는 아이들 밥을 든든하게 먹이고 옆집 장박 친구네와 함께
**골뱅이소면, 회무침, 한남감자탕, 화목난로에 구운 밤**
등 멋진 안주로 어른들만의 시간을 가졌습니다.
술을 너무 섞어 마신 후유증으로
다음날까지 고생했지만, 즐거운 밤이었습니다!

😌 셋째 날: 여유로운 철수와 다음 준비 (12/7 일요일, 5/4℃, 맑음)
숙취로 힘든 아침이었지만, 샤워 후 한숨 자고 10시쯤 정신을 차렸습니다.
미리 컨디션을 회복한 와이프가 아침 일찍부터 아이들 식사를 챙겨줘서 고마웠어요.
장박의 매력은 바로 여유네요.
일반 캠핑처럼 11시에 철수할 필요 없이
일요일 16시까지 시간을 보낼 수 있다는 점이 정말 좋았습니다.
**💡 다음 장박을 위한 준비:**
1. **대형 방수포 활용 계획:** 텐트를 비울 때 덮어둘 10m x 10m 대형 방수포를 주문했는데,
너무 크고 환기 문제(곰팡이)가 걱정되어 일부를 커팅하고 긴 폴대를 이용해 공기가 통하도록 덮어둘 계획입니다.
2. **들고양이 방지:** 스커트 고정 시 들고양이 방지를 위해 페트병에 물을 담아두는 방법을
캠장님께 미리 여쭤보는 습관을 들여야 함을 배웠습니다.
이번 장박 첫 캠핑은 앞으로의 편안한 장박을 위한 **준비 기간**이라 다소 힘들었지만,
많은 시행착오를 겪으며 장박에 대한 감을 잡을 수 있었습니다.
다음 캠핑에는 조명, 발판, 제작 도구, 놀잇감, 선반 등 부족했던 물품을 완벽하게 챙겨서 더욱 즐거운 시간을 보낼 예정입니다!

## 🏕️ [The Start of Long-Term Camping] E-mart Pacific Ocean 4.0 Tent Pitching Review: From Groundwork to Tent Reorientation (Dec 5–7)
Hello everyone! I'm finally kicking off my long-term winter camping journey for 2025. Since the campsite was covered in snow when I arrived, I had to start with snow removal! Here is my three-day account of building a cozy and warm shelter, detailing the struggles and the eventual success.
### ❄️ Day 1: The Battle with Snow and the Importance of Groundwork (Dec 5, Fri, 1/-7℃, Cloudy)
I arrived at the long-term site at 3:30 PM. The ground was slippery and the weather was freezing, so I immediately got to work clearing the snow. What was even more crucial than pitching the tent was the **ground construction**.

**The Meticulous Ground Layering:**
1. **Plastic Sheeting** after snow removal (for moisture barrier)

The cold made the tape hard to stick and the surface slippery, making the process time-consuming. However, laying down such a thick base **definitely blocked the cold rising from the ground**. The floor comfort was 100% satisfactory, as expected!
**✅ Pitching and Trial and Error:**
* I struggled to decide the tent's orientation and the urethane window direction. I initially pitched it facing the lawn, but realized the next day that I **should have set it up facing the mountain.** (The wisdom of long-term camping veterans is true!)
* It took about 2 hours in total to finish the groundwork, pitch the tent, and move in the gear.

I hastily invited a friend on the first night, but due to insufficient preparation, I had to ask them to bring chicken 😅. It was a hectic first night, but thanks to my friend at the neighboring long-term site, we had a warm dinner. Later, we moved to my tent and enjoyed talking by the kerosene lamp and gazing at the 'fire.'
Although the tent was like a temporary structure without the fly and only the four main stakes driven in, the **Gear Mission kerosene heater, GB Project Turtle Fan, and Lumena Warmer Pot** kept us warm. The dry air was uncomfortable, though, so I promised myself to bring a kettle next time.
**😥 Day 1 Regrets:**
* Despite the good groundwork, the inner tent was positioned too far out, causing my feet to feel cold and leading to some condensation. (I learned the importance of precise inner tent placement.)
* My usual Yato string lights had a short circuit, and I couldn't find my power strip, leading to a temporary borrowing incident from the campsite staff.

### 🔨 Day 2: Tent Reorientation and Perfect Setup (Dec 6, Sat, 3/-2℃, Cloudy, Rain then Clear)
I woke up around 7 AM and noticed the heater was out! Fortunately, there was still a spark on the wick. I added oil and managed to maintain a warm front room (vestibule) temperature.
**🛠️ Changing the Tent Direction:**
When my wife and kids arrived, I asked the camp owner about the urethane window's direction, and the answer was a firm **"Of course, it should face the mountain!"** With the help of my friend, we immediately began the reorientation process.
We took out all the gear and flooring, pulled the main stakes, rotated the tent, re-pitched it, and tensioned the guy lines. Finally, the tent looked like a **properly set-up shelter**!

I felt bad that my friend had only eaten ramen for lunch after all the hard work, but the setup sped up tremendously once my wife joined. I made up for it by treating my friend to my wife's **Chicken Noodle Soup (Dak-Kalguksu)** for lunch. (The wife truly completes the camping experience!)
**👨👩👧👦 Quality Time with Family:**
With the interior perfectly organized and the front and inner rooms warm, the kids excitedly ran between the rooms and played. We even pulled them on a sled on the remaining snow. Seeing them enjoy themselves made me feel that **this is what long-term camping is all about.**
In the evening, we joined the neighbors for an adults' night with great food like **spicy whelk noodles, raw fish salad, Hannam Gamjatang (pork bone soup), and chestnuts roasted on a wood stove.** We enjoyed conversation with soju, whiskey, and beer—a mix that unfortunately led to a difficult day afterward!

### 😌 Day 3: Leisurely Pack-up and Future Planning (Dec 7, Sun, 5/4℃, Sunny)
It was a tough morning due to the hangover, but I felt better after a shower and a nap around 10 AM. My wife, who had recovered earlier, had already fixed breakfast for the kids, which I greatly appreciated.
The charm of long-term camping is the **leisurely pace**. Unlike regular camping, where you rush to pack up by 11 AM, we could stay until **4 PM on Sunday**.
**💡 Plans for the Next Trip:**
1. **Using the Large Tarp:** I ordered a 10m x 10m tarp to cover the tent when we're away. Since it's too big and I worry about ventilation (and mold), I plan to cut a part of it and use a long pole to keep it slightly open for airflow.
2. **Stray Cat Prevention:** I learned that putting water bottles around the skirt can deter stray cats, and I should make a habit of asking the camp owner for advice first.
This first trip was a bit challenging as it was a **preparatory phase** for a comfortable long-term stay, but I learned a lot through trial and error.
Next time, I will be sure to bring all the missing items—lighting, floor mats, tools, toys, shelves, and lots of food—for an even more enjoyable time!##
