❄️ [장박 6주차] 계획 없는 편안함, 그리고 장박 연장 결정! (1/9~1/11)

안녕하세요! 어느덧 장박도 중반을 넘어 후반을 향해 달려가고 있네요. 이번 6주차는 특별한 계획 없이 오로지 '쉼'과 '가족'에 집중한 시간이었습니다.
눈 소식과 강풍 예보에 걱정도 됐지만, 오히려 그 덕분에 더 포근하고 아늑했던 주말 기록을 공유합니다.

🥗 1/9(금): 폭발(?)하는 맥주와 설레는 언박싱
아침 운동부터 업무까지 꽉 찬 하루를 보내고 저녁 6시, 서둘러 장박지로 향했습니다.

저녁 메뉴는 저희 가족이 애용하는 맛집 '샤블랑'의 샤브샤브! 따끈한 국물로 몸을 녹이려는데, 살짝 얼어있던 맥주가 개봉과 동시에 폭발하는 해프닝이 있었네요. 😂

막내 채이는 크리스마스 때 할아버지께 받은 용돈으로 직접 고른 '타요 버스 트럭'을 드디어 언박싱하며 행복한 밤을 보냈습니다. 날씨가 생각보다 포근해 반바지 차림으로 맥주 한 잔 나누며 평화롭게 첫날을 마무리했습니다.

🥟 1/10(토): 외출의 즐거움과 중대한 결정
토요일 점심에는 근처 식당 '천상'으로 외출을 다녀왔습니다. 마파두부밥과 탕수육은 아이들이 참 잘 먹었지만, 기대했던 짬뽕은 소통의 부재인지 조금 아쉬움이 남더라고요. 식사 후 들른 스타벅스 주차장에서 뱀 장난감에 놀라기도 하고, 어깨에 앵무새를 올린 분을 마주치는 등 소소한 구경거리도 많았습니다.

저녁에는 배가 불러 거를까 했지만, 준비한 소시지와 미니 돈가스, 그리고 '무파마' 라면의 유혹을 이기지 못했습니다. 화목난로에 밤을 구워 먹으며 맥주잔을 기울이다가 우리 가족은 장박 연장을 결정했습니다!
원래 2월 22일이었던 일정을
2주 더 늘려 3월 8일까지 즐기기로 했어요.

🍖 1/11(일): 소갈비찜과 귀한 눈 구경
일요일 점심은 소갈비찜을 준비했습니다. 테이블 위에 버너를 제대로 세팅하니 식사 시간이 훨씬 안정적이고 편안해졌습니다. 아이들은 밖이 추운데도 싸웠다 웃었다를 반복하며 붙어 지내더니, 이제는 말투까지 서로 닮아가는 모습이 참 귀엽네요.

올해는 눈이 귀하다는데, 이번 주도 눈밭에서 신나게 노는 아이들을 보니 장박하길 잘했다는 생각이 듭니다. 집에 돌아오니 안방에 갇혀있던 고양이가 침대에 실례를 해두어 빨래 폭탄을 맞았지만, 이 또한 캠핑의 여운이라 생각하며 한 주를 마무리합니다.

📝 다가올 철수 계획
이제 슬슬 철수 계획도 세우고 있습니다. 마지막 날 한 번에 짐을 빼기엔 무리일 것 같아, 일부 짐을 먼저 옮기고 다시 방문해 나머지를 정리하는 2단계 철수를 계획 중입니다. 매주 보던 장박지 이웃들과 헤어질 생각을 하니 벌써 아쉬움이 남네요.

❄️ [Week 6] Unplanned Comfort and the Decision to Extend! (1/9~1/11)
We’ve officially passed the halfway mark of our long-term camping journey! Week 6 was all about "rest" and "family" without any strict plans. Despite concerns about snow and wind forecasts, it turned out to be a cozy and heartwarming weekend.
🥗 Jan 9 (Fri): Exploding Beer and Exciting Unboxing
After a busy day of working out and working hard, we headed to the campsite at 6 PM. For dinner, we picked up Shabu-shabu from our favorite spot, 'Shablanc.' I opened a beer not realizing it was slightly frozen, and experienced a mini-explosion! 😂
My youngest, Chae-i, finally unboxed the 'Tayo Bus Truck' she bought with the pocket money her grandfather gave her for Christmas. The weather was surprisingly mild, so I spent a peaceful evening in shorts, sipping beer and watching 'I Live Alone.'
🥟 Jan 10 (Sat): Dining Out and a Big Decision
For Saturday lunch, we visited a local restaurant called 'Cheonsang.' The Mapo Tofu and Sweet and Sour Pork were hits with the kids, though the Gwanghwamun Jjamppong left a bit to be desired. While stopping by Starbucks, we had a little scare from a toy snake in the parking lot and even saw someone with a parrot on their shoulder!

We thought we were too full for dinner, but the mini tonkatsu, sausages, and 'Mupama' ramen were too good to pass up. While roasting chestnuts and sharing drinks, we made a big decision: to extend our long-term stay! We’ve pushed our checkout date from Feb 22 to March 8.
🍖 Jan 11 (Sun): Galbi-jjim and Rare Snow Sights
Sunday lunch featured braised short ribs (Galbi-jjim). Setting up the burner on the table made the meal much more stable and enjoyable. The kids, despite the cold, spent the day playing together—arguing one minute and laughing the next—until they even started sounding like each other.

They say snow is rare this year, but seeing the kids play in the snow again this week made me grateful for this experience. We returned home to a bit of a disaster—the cat had an accident on the bed while being accidentally locked in the room—but even that felt like a small price to pay for such a relaxing week.
📝 Future Pack-out Plans
As we approach the final weeks, I’m starting to plan the pack-out. I plan to do it in two stages: moving some gear first, then returning later to move the rest. I’m already feeling a bit sentimental about saying goodbye to the neighbors I’ve seen every week!
